Contemporary class is designed for all types of movers. With a syllabus incorporating commercial and modern movement this organic class keeps dancers current & relevant in a quickly changing industry. Our class begins with a Jazz base and continues with a very urban esthetic.
To enjoy the benefits of flexibility, one must understand the body and the way it responds to specific poses and movements. The class is designed to increase flexibility and improve body alignment through a variety of deep stretches and challenging positions (splits, backbends, hip and shoulder mobility, etc…). All levels are welcome, but be prepared to leave your comfort zone!
Recommended Attire: Short sleeve or long sleeve shirt (please no tank tops), yoga pants or capris. You will remove shoes and jewelry prior to class.
Ballet Barre Burn
Ballet Barre Burn focuses mainly on the lower body, thighs, booty and calves, while strengthening the back and core. This is a low impact class however you will definitely feel the burn! If you are looking for a way to condition and tone those 'trouble' areas, look no further....THIS is the class for you!
Recommended Attire: Short sleeve or long sleeve shirt (please no tank tops), yoga pants or capris. Ballet shoes, Dance Shoes, or socks.
